Theme \u201cMargins\u201d<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The revolution happens when the margins occupy the centre.<\/p>\n

As margens acontecem nas sombras, crescem fora das visibilidades e operam ocultas at\u00e9 se tornarem luz e quem sabe centro.<\/p>\n

On the margins there will be a crowd, in the centre there will be a few, perhaps those who exercise power, and the margins are thus on the margins of power, by occupying the centre they occupy power, our previously silenced voices are heard, the lights discover the invisible.<\/p>\n

The other margin always seems distant, another field of existence that we don’t know about or want to reach. The margin can always be or remain the margin that is the margin, in both cases the revolution takes place. Sometimes being who we are is already a revolutionary act. <\/p>\n

Let’s be the margin, let’s be the centre, let’s be the revolution we want to be and see.<\/p>\n

\u201cMargins\u201d is the theme of the photographic exhibition of the 7th edition of PORTO FEMME – International Film Festival, which features an exhibition of 50 photographs and others that will be projected, from the hundreds of images that were received, embroidering the theme from different perspectives. This initiative is a partnership between Galerias MIRA FORUM and Porto Femme. <\/p>\n
