Synopsis:
Somewhere in the outskirts of Vienna, gypsy mafia man Rocky rules his “family” with an iron fist. Among the members is teenage street beggar Pepe, who is forced to surrender his daily proceeds. One day, young Marcela arrives from East Slovakia, home of the family boss, to work off her father’s debt. Before long, love is in the air between her and Pepe. The trouble is that Rocky has plans of his own for Marcela…
Biography:
Alexandra Makarová was born in 1985 in Košice, Slovakia.
After the fall of the iron curtain she moved with her mother, an impressionistic painter, to Vienna/Austria.
CRUSH MY HEART is her 1st feature film. Simon Schwarz, writer Sebastian Schmidl, composer Johannes Winkler and the first experience in acting for the main cast Simona Kovacova and Roman Pokuta.
She studied Directing and Scriptwriting in Vienna. Her short films such as AN EINEM ANDEREN TAG and SOLA, participated at several International Festivals.
Makarová lives and works in Vienna and Berlin.
CRUSH MY HEART is her 1st feature film. It is also the first feature film for DOP Georg Weiss, producer Simon Schwarz, writer Sebastian Schmidl, composer Johannes Winkler and the first experience in acting for the main cast Simona Kovacova and Roman Pokuta.

Synopsis:
Tufan who works at a small print shop lives in Eskişehir with his wife Mukaddes and daughter Simge. Huriye, their lonely neighbour next door falls ill one night. A doctor recommends that she shouldn’t stay on her own. Tufan takes pity on Huriye, who has no family to turn to, and decides to host her at his house. Through fear and anxiety he experiences Tufan’s kindness is put to test.
Biography:
Vuslat Saraçoğlu graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University with a degree in Sociology and International Relations. She went on to study Modern Turkish History at Boğaziçi University, but discontinued her course at the thesis stage. In 2010, she attended the Directors Across Borders section of the Yerevan Golden Apricot Film Festival and the Talent Campus of Sarajevo Film Festival. Her film and literary reviews have been published in various magazines. Her short, KAKOFONI was screened at numerous national and international festivals. In 2013, Saraçoğlu’s documentary on the fans of a popular singer, THE CHILDREN OF MUSLUM BABA was shown in many festivals Vuslat was among the cast and worked as the production coordinator in the feature film “WHY CAN’T I BE TARKOVSKY…” (2014). Her first feature DEBT was granted with post- production award at Antalya Film Festival 2017 and The Golden Tulip for the Best Film in Istanbul Film Festival 2018.

Synopsis:
Depois da morte da avó, a filha de um empresário volta ao lugar onde nasceu.
After a little while, she receives the visit of her former classmates but their reunion take an unexpected turn.
Biography:
Olga Korotko made her first short films during her studies with the wellknown Kazakh filmmaker Darezhan Omirbayev. She quickly obtained an international recognition and was selected for the Asian Film Academy program at the Busan Festival in South Korea.
She continued her film studies at the New York Film Academy (2014-15) and then participated in Berlinale Talents Campus (Berlin Festival 2016). Then, she obtained a Master Degree in filmmaking at the Zhurgenov National Academy of Fine Arts in Kazakhstan. Her first feature film Bad Bad Winter was presented as a world premiere at the Cannes Festival (ACID 2018).
