Synopsis

Actress Charlotte is struggling waith her craft and even more with herself. Frustrated by the realities of an artistic career and her fear of failing, Charlotte escapes on a camping trip to sunny Croatia with her boyfriend Georg. But the trip’s dynamic changes when their plans of a fun-filled couples vacation misfire.

 

Biography

Katharina Ludwig was born in Stralsund, Germany, and studied at the University of Television and Film Munich. Active as a freelance director, producer and editor, she has worked on award-winning commercials and corporate films since 2010. Her films include Sundays (2010), Boys! (2012) and her graduation feature This is where I meet you (2019).

Synopsis

After relocating to Tokyo, a Brazilian writer begins a new novel, provoked by her experiences in Japan and by one of the last scenes she witnessed in Rio de Janeiro: a female swimmer tearing up the horizon with powerful strokes in the wide, open sea. Those two women apparently share no connection, until their lives start to interfere in one another, strangely linked through the sea.

 

Biography

Djin Sganzerla is a director, actress and producer. She was awarded, among others, the APCA Award for Best Film Actress. She directed the short film Envelhecendo em Tonéis de Carvalho, together with Joel Gehlen, in completion. She is a partner of Mercúrio Produções, founded in 2001. Ocean Woman is her first feature film.

Synopsis

Biography

Linda Dombrovszky has a degree from the Academy of Drama and Film, Faculty of Film and TV. From 2004 to 2009 she frequented the BA and MA at Academy of Drama and Film, Faculty of Film and TV, Hungary.
