Synopsis:

A professional mascot named Fauve gets dumped on the summer solstice, aka the longest day of the year. The icy storm she’s plunged into doesn’t quite fit with the current heatwave.

Biography:

In 2016, after directing a dozen music videos and documentaries, Fanny created her first fictional web series, Bête à papa,which was broadcast on LIBTV (Illico). She also has two short films to her name: Sauce à spag (2018 – It earned the special jury mention at the Cinema on the Bayou festival in Louisiana) and A Broken-Hearted Solstice (2019 (2019). Biography:

It was during her studies at the University of Paris 8 that Marie Cogné made her first Marie Cogné made her first short film, in 16mm. Subsidized by the CNC (selective aid before production) and carried out within the framework of the G.R.E.C., Les deux font l'oaire (2000) was selected in competition in Pantin, and won the Young Film Prize and the Language Prize. At the same time, between 2005 and 2016, she produced a dozen making of, for films such as Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi and Vincent Paronnaud, La tourneuse de pages by Denis Dercourt, Simon Werner has disappeared by Fabrice Gobert, Le Moine by Dominik Moll... (for Diaphana, 2.4.7. Films or I'm Happy). Since 2014, she has been teaching at the University of Paris 8 as a lecturer.

Synopsis:

Camille and I tells the story of a couple of women from 2003 to today through various key moments in its construction, from their coming-out to their marriage, including the birth of a child. We follow the genesis of this family sometimes in scenes of couples, sometimes through the eyes of others. Images or words, more or less striking, hurtful or funny, follow one another in a multitude of brief scenes, at different times, in different places, over the years.

A model is taking a photo shoot with a recognized photographer. He proposes to take the photos with the naked torso to convey that insecurity caused by nakedness. He wants to talk about how vulnerable women feel in this society.

Biography

Nüll García, Madrid (1986). She debuts as director with Ferrotiposafter a long acting career. She graduated in Acting in 2009 from RESAD. She also studied with Andrés Lima, Ángel Gutiérrez and Catalina Lladó. In the last years, she has worked as an actress in numerous plays, television series, feature films and short films. In addition, she is part of La Extraña, a theater company that investigates the work of Bertolt Brecht, author of The exception and the rule.

Biography

Luiza Campos is a Brazilian director in constant search for the true narrative, whether in fiction or documentary. Luiza has a fun and sensitive approach to all of her work. After directing the TV series Descolados for MTV, Destino Lua-de-Mel for Discovery Channel and Julie e os Fantasmas for Band, Mesa Pra Dois for GNT, Luiza created and directed the documentary Alphaville for the German channel Arte/ZDF and the short film Próxima, financed by the Edital Cultura Inglesa, and which it is being screened in several festivals. Luiza currently works with advertising films for major Brazilian agencies such as F-Nazca, Almap/BBDO, Neogama, Africa, Dentsu, Havas, Salve Tribal and its clients Itaú, Santander, Cannon, Suzuki, Dove, Boticário, Natura, Nextel, Vivo, Skol and TIM. She is one of the founders of the TETA collective, which aims to produce content written, directed and carried out by women.

Biography

Sanja Milardović was born in Rijeka in 1987. She graduated in acting and puppetry from the Academy of Arts in Osijek. After finishing her studies, she moved to Zagreb where she performed in numerous theatrical productions at Teatar &TD, Zagreb Dance Center, Teatar Rugantino, Moruzgva theatre, and Mala Scena theatre. Besides acting, she directed several theatre plays: Ronilac bisera (Diver of Pearls), Nabavit ću si mačka (I'll Get Myself a Cat), Pristajanja (Landings), Studije o divljoj gusci (Surveys of Wild Geese), and Mala čuda (Little Wonders). She is a member of the Croatian Association of Independent Artists and the Croatian Society of Dramatic Artists. In 2012 she participated in the Acting Studio workshop as part of the Sarajevo Film Festival's Talent Campus programme. Her 2014 debut as a short fiction film director Just Like Thatwas shown in competition of international film festivals: Zagreb Film Festival, UNICA in St. Petersburg, 20min/max International Short Film Festival, FeKK Ljubljana Short Film Festival, and Revue of Croatian Short Films. She is currently in post production of her sophomore short fiction I'm Not Telling You Anything, Just Sayin'The film was supported by Croatian Audiovisual Centre and has participated on European Short Pitch - Nisi Masa.

Biography

Born in Paris in 1988, Noémie Merlant is an actress and director. Trained at the Cour Florent in 2012, she was named in 2017 as one of the best female hopes for the 42nd César ceremony for her role in Le ciel attendra attendra by Marie-Castille Mention-Schaar. In 2019, the jury of the Riviera International Film Festival awarded her the Best Actress Award for her performance of Charlie in Nathan Ambrosioni's The Paper Flags. She shared the lead role in Portrait de la jeune fille en feufeature film by Céline Sciamma, which was acclaimed at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival for its Screenplay Award. In 2020, Zoé Wittock's feature film Jumbowas released in which she plays a new lead role. Insolence Productions, who produced the film, allowed her to come back behind the camera as a writer and director. Her next short film Shakira, produced by Anaïs Bertrand and Pascaline Saillant, was screened by the CNC and ARTE France.

Biography:

Tong Mao was born in Changsha, China. It was during her job at a high school TV station that she fell in love with filmmaking. While at Beijing Film Academy, she mainly focused on student film producing and directing. After she graduated in 2016, she worked as a producer’s assistant and applied herself to film distribution and promotion. Encouraged by her coworkers, she decided to pursue further education on film directing. While at Emerson College (Boston), she has made several fictional and experimental films as well as several short scripts. In 2021, she finished her first major production, the short film Shimmer Summer. It is about diversity and fluidity in gender identity and expression, is also about friendship and family affection Shimmer Summer was submitted in various festivals around the world in 2021. For now, she is eager to explore different aspects of film and storytelling.

Izumi Ohtomi is a film director/writer based in Tokyo. She studied Film Studies at St. Cloud State University in the U. S. After graduating, she returned to Japan and joined a film production company where she had multiple roles including assistant director and translator in domestic and international film productions. In 2013, her first feature film was selected and screened as part of Focus on World Cinema program at The Montreal World Film Festival.

Toriumi likes her screenplay and shows his interest in producing her directorial debut film. However, despite Aoi’s delight, the discussion starts to derail. When Aoi refuses to accept the producer’s irrational demand, he shows doubt in her ability to act on unexpected situations. Is he testing her aptitude or just trying to take advantage of her? Sarah Heitz de Chabaneix, a graduate from The National Theater School of Canada, started her cinema career as an assistant director, before launching into script writing and film directing. She has since written and directed several award-winner short movies. Among them: Spooning (2020), Under Mom’s Skirt (2017), The Whispers (2015) e I’m A Blank Page (2012). (2012). Biography:

Doğuş Özokutan (Nicosia, Cyprus, 10/26/1984) received her MFA degree in Visual Arts. Her debut short Random Attempts 2015), competed in several festivals worldwide and it was nominated for best film at the Oscars Qualifying Short Shorts & Asia 2016. Her second short film, Kısmet has been screened in 39 countries and nominated for audience awards numerous times, including at the BAFTA Qualifying Leeds International Film Festival. Özokutan’s animated short documentary, Çoban (Shepherd), completed in 2020, won the Remi Award at Worldfest Houston. The Delivery (2020) is her fourth short film as a director.

Yusuf accepts the job of carrying refugees with his refrigerated meat truck, believing this is the only way to find money for saving his daughter’s life. Biography:

Camille Poirier is from Abitibi-Témiscamingue. She currently lives in Montreal where she obtained a bachelor's degree in film at UQÀM in 2014. First specialized in video editing, The Music Video is the first short fiction film she has made since the end of her studies. Her desire to make movies comes from a fascination with the world around her and her need to investigate it.

Behnaz (Teheran, Iran, 1982) is an Iranian Filmmaker who graduated in Persian Literature and studied Cinema in Bamdad International Art Institute in Tehran/Iran. She worked as Unit Production Manager in 316 directed by Payman Haghaniin 2014. She was assistant director in Ceremony Night short movie directed by Behnam Abedi in 2019, which both movies attended to many Film Festivals. So far , she directed a short movie The Performance in 2019 which has won the Award of Excellence from the 16th edition of Accolade Film Festival and Best Actress from the ‘’10’’ Film Festival.

Biography:

Olga Torrico studies between Rome, Paris, Bologna and Valencia, graduating in languages and literature, and specializing in Film Studies. Since 2014 she has been part of Elenfant Distribution, working as a short distributor. In 2016, with Adam Selo she founds the production company Sayonara Film, with which she produces shorts and creative documentaries. In 2017 she attends the screenplay writing school Bottega Finzioni and is one of the producers of the series 13.11 13.11 with Elenfant Film, presented in more than 70 festivals worldwide. She writes, directs and stars in her first short Gas Station, shot in 35 mm, winner of the program Extended Cinecampus, produced by Sayonara Film and Factory Film, in collaboration with Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia.

These projects have garnered more than 280 international selections and 75 awards, highlighting the Seville SEFF European Film Festival, Nevada’s Women Film Festival, Ciudad de Juárez International Short Film Festival, Viña del Mar International Film Festival and Camerimage, among others. The fashion film Winter kills Fall won the Best Fashion Film award at the Miami Springs International Film Festival in 2018. Her latest project is When the letter arrives, a short film for Doctors of the World, with a release date in 2021.
