Synopsis
It is a tribute to the people who dedicated their lives to sharing their souls with beings who never had it. To the people who gave their voices to objects that had so much to say. To tell old forgotten stories. To the puppeteers, who due to their profession, were not allowed to be buried in cemeteries, as they were considered soulless.
Biographies
Julieta and Putxa have dedicated most of their career to directing in the world of theater. One could already notice their sensibility to the cinema in their performances. Before creating their first film, both directed and produced various video clips. Anima Animae Animam is their first official experience in their search for their own cinematographic style that includes the Arts of movement and puppeteering.

Biographies
Saman Hosseinpuor was born in Saqez/Kurdestan/Iran. He started filmmaking at 2008. In the meantime, he started writing short stories. He is a director and Writer and he lives in Iran. He has a bachelor’s degree and a Master’s in Cinema.
Ako Zandkarimi was born in Sanandaj/Kurdistan/Iran. He started Filmmaking when he was just 15 years old and he was just a student in high school and that was the start of his passion for Cinema. He has a bachelor’s degree in cinema.

Biographies
Mikai Geronimo is an Irish filmmaker specialized in animated film. She graduated from The National Film School at IADT, in Dublin, where she co-directed her graduation film Fall of the Ibis King with Josh O’Caoimh.
Josh O’Caoimh comes from Ireland and makes films with an interest for animations.His graduation film Fall of the Ibis King was co-directed with classmate and friend Mikai Geronimo as graduation film from The National Film School at IADT, in Ireland.

Giulia Grandinetti was born in 1989 in a small village in the Marche region – Italy. She is a multifaceted artist, driven on her artistic journey by research and experimentation. Her greatest ambition is to experience an artistic encounter between the world of cinema and that of theater-dance.
Andrea Benjamin Manenti, born in 1991, is an Italian director of photography, photographer, and emerging director. He works as a cinematographer, collaborating with numerous emerging directors.

Biography
João Garcia Neto (Aveiro, 1998) is a filmmaker and visual artist. He has been working in film and transdisciplinary artistic practices. He is a Master's student in Cinema at Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema-IPL (Lisbon). He attended the postgraduate course in Visual Studies Photography and (Post) Cinema at FCSH-NOVA (Lisbon). He studied Communication at the University of Aveiro and Intermediate Arts at the University of Fine Arts in Poznań in Poland. In 2019 he held his first solo exhibition, Sangria at Galeria Ocupa!, Porto. In 2020, he is part of the collective exhibition Nova Terra Prometida by the Han-Ian Commune in Macau. He is the author of several short films, including Insular Sights (2021), resulting from his creation with the senior community of the Municipality of Ílhavo, and A Straight Story (2021), a photo-film essay. He makes videos for theater shows, being a close collaborator of Teatro Aveirense and the Experimental Theater Group of the University of Aveiro.

Patrícia Santos born in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal. Her passion for discovering, experimenting and creating new things led her to graduate in Visual Arts, but leaving her drawings static was not enough, so she decided to give them life, venturing into the vast world of Animation.
Tânia Teixeira is passionate about Art as a whole and the taste for creating since she was a little girl, she made Digital Animation her first step into the world of animated imagination.
Bruno Miguel Polquinhas Maravilha was born in Lisbon on November 23rd, 1998. He is currently studying at the Lusófona University

Cofounder of La Fine Equipe du 45, an association active in the production and the realization of documentaries, video clips, and films in the musical field (2008 - now). Co-founder of RJ41 Productions, active in production and realization of films, web series, documentaries, and music videos (2002 - now). Biographies
Catarina de Sousa (b.1985, Portugal) is a filmmaker, journalist, and producer. Her filmmaking practice arises out of her experience in activist journalism between Brazil, the USA, and Portugal. She seeks to use film as a means of building community within a current political cinema.
Nick Tyson (b. 1991, United States) is a filmmaker, writer and investigative storyteller based between Paris and New York City. His filmmaking practice seeks to create imaginative spaces out of traditional documentary elements.

Synopsis
The lives of these women take place in the mountains of the Colombian Andes. There, they sow the land, grow and harvest coffee, make handicrafts, take care of their homes and, above all, honor their ancestral territory and culture. They are a group of trans women from the Embera Chami community, located in the Karmata Rua Indigenous Reservation, who have been making their way despite various difficulties.

Claudia Fischer: Her various backgrounds allows her approach to filmmaking through the lens of a versatile visual artist. In the audiovisual field, Fischer works as a director, camera, screenwriter and producer of documentaries focused on the preservation of cultural memory.
Felipe Paz: For more than 20 years he has worked in Colombia, where he has directed and produced a large number of documentary films that show the social, economic and cultural problems of the country's indigenous and peasant populations.
