Synopsis
They ignore each other in the hope of becoming each other’s object of desire. One day, as their paths cross, all they exchange is a cold nod. A story about manipulation and the catastrophic consequences of inaction.
Biographies
Susana Miguel António: Graduated in Communication Sciences from FSCH-UNL and post-graduated in Cultural Management from ISCTE-IUL. As a producer, started working at a radio, went on to television, dedicated herself intensely to theatre, experimented fondly with advertising and cinema, and became devoted to animation film. Worked as executive producer for the production company Sardinha em Lata from 2015 to 2020.
Filipa Gomes Da Costa: Attends the Fashion Design Course at CITEX and the Illustration Course at Ar.Co. Worked in the production of live action advertising films at Panorâmica 35. Her path in animation begins at Neurones PT, where she receives training and works as an inbetween artist and inker in two feature films. Went on to collaborate with several production companies, including Lampadaacesa and Sardinha em Lata, as an animator, inbetween artist, inker, graphic designer and set artist.

Synopsis
“Cooking is caring” says my mother while she enthusiastically juggles pots and pans preparing a family meal. Using food and passed down recipes, personal history is interwoven with gestures of affection and familial unity. A visual ode to the unsung heroes who repeatedly feed and care for us without asking for anything in return.
Biography
Mafalda Salgueiro was born in Alentejo, Portugal. With a background in architecture, she pursues her interest in community and tradition. Using film, animation and drawing, it tells complex stories in an approach that is as creative as it is ethnographic.

Synopsis
On a hot August afternoon, the family gathered at the table remembering uncle Botão: the Colonial War, emigration to France, where he lived and worked thirty years as a garbage man. Memories of each are crossed to tell the story of a man who lived a hard life through humor and fantasy, like when he returned to Belmonte, in a van full of trash, turned into a real treasure.
Biography
In 2009 she finishes the course Art and Multimedia at Faculdade de Belas Artes in Lisbon and enters the animation world as a final art and animator in the studio Sardinha em Lata. In 2013 she moves to Porto, where she starts working at Bando à Parte as an animator and painter. She now works at the Cooperative BAP Animation Studio, as one of the founding members, where she directs her most recent animation short The Garbage Man, produced by Bando à Parte.

Synopsis
A political musical film about a Pink Jacket that always has something up his sleeve. In the comfort of his home, Casaco Rosa uses couture and torture to stitch up the opponents of the system.
Biography
Mónica Santos is a multifaceted author who has won two Sophia awards, by the Portuguese Film Academy, and a nomination for César, by the French Academy, in her cinematographic journey. With a unique artistic vision, she creates universes that reinvent the real, giving them a poetic and surreal outlook that disrupts our perception.
