Synopsis:
An old pipe in a bathroom caused a leak in the ceiling. On this ceiling, mushrooms of a toxic species of the species Poriales would grow. Sitting on the toilet, the lady of this house looks up and observes this magical and mysterious fungus that is neither an animal nor a plant. The mushroom is the future, she thought.
Biography:
Born in Porto in 1979. Graduated in Digital Arts, in the Sound and Image course, by the Arts School of the Catholic University of Porto, in 2002. Has been participating in several projects of Theatre, Film, Animation and Music.

Synopsis:
A young woman, troubled by the death of her mother, through palmistry, seeks refuge in her study and observation of other rites. As grief and acceptance of death permeate her inner universe, she eventually finds herself.
Biography:
Mónica Santos is a multifaceted author who has won two Sophia awards from the Portuguese Film Academy and a nomination for the Césars from the French Academy in her cinematographic career. With a unique artistic vision, she creates universes that reinvent the real, giving them a poetic and surreal garb that unsettles our perception.

Synopsis:
A man wanders through the city trying to maintain his daily routine. While he is confronted with a reality unaware of his suffering, he prepares his farewell.
Biography:
Margarida Vila-Nova is one of the most renowned Portuguese actresses, having starred in several drama series and films (“Letters from War”, “Empire Hotel”, “Natural Law”). In 2012 she founded Magníficas Produções producing several plays (“Teen’s Confessions”, “A B C of Women”). In 2021 she founded the production company Verão Decimal. “Pê” is her first film as director and screenwriter.

Synopsis:
In the middle of the Atlantic, Helena rekindles an old friendship with Ceu, an astrophysicist who recently relocated to the Azorean island of Santa Maria to study exoplanets. Caught between the island’s geological inheritance and the vastness of the cosmos, the two friends reconcile with the various space exploration infrastructures that are stationed on the island.
Biography:
Alice dos Reis (Lisbon, 1995) is an artist and filmmaker currently based in Lisbon, Portugal. They have exhibited, solo and in group, at the Serralves Museum for Contemporary Art (Porto), Kunsthalle Lissabon (Lisbon), 5th Istanbul Design Biennale (Istanbul), RADIUS CCA (Delft), Porto Municipal Gallery (Porto), Punt WG (Amsterdam), Galerie InSitu (Paris), Display (Prague), Gallery and Lehmann + Silva, among others. They co-run Pântano Books, a literary and poetry press.

Synopsis:
In Homeric epics, Cassandra is the tragic character par excellence: a figure cursed with the gift of prophecy but discredited. In this narrative, Cassandra makes use of screens and the digital age, as a means for reflecting on the current relationship between intimacy, affection and pleasure between human beings.
Biography:
Master in Contemporary Art Practices at Faculdade de Belas Artes, Universidade do Porto. "Aquaparque", the first short film she writes and directs, marked presence in several international film festivals. In 2021 she made her second short fiction film "Cassandra Bitter Tongue". She collaborated as a jury at the 65th Locarno Film Festival in 2012, the 17th Sofia Film Festival and the 21st Vila do Conde Short Film Festival in 2015 and the Queer Lisbon Film Festival in 2017, among others. In theater, she is a founding member of the cultural association AMANDA, where Ana develops dramaturgy and directing projects.
