WORKSHOP | Wardrobe for Cinema

This year, Porto Femme is offering a workshop entitled “Wardrobe for Cinema” on April 9, 10, and 11, led by instructor Susana Abreu.

The workshop aims to be a space for creation and reflection on the role of wardrobe in the context of cinema. The workshop consists of an introduction to wardrobe, followed by different creative proposals to explore and question its role in relation to space, light, sound, and bodies.

Once again, Porto Femme joins forces with MUTIM to present the workshop “They made a film. Now what? The paths of distribution,” on April 12 with trainer Marta Fernandes.

The workshop aims to provide a comprehensive overview of distribution and exhibition, covering everything from acquisitions to arrival at the cinema and VOD. All the steps involved in the release and promotion of a film will be explored, including marketing and communication strategies, positioning, support, and exhibition windows.
