Author of the books Entre Vozes e Imagens – a presença das imagens cinematográficas nas múltiplas vozes do romance português (anos 70-90), in 2007 and Federico Fellini – a inevitabilidade da arte, in 2020

Annie Gava

Annie Gava

Trainer of pedagogical cinema in National Education. She was responsible for the cinematographic mission of the rectory of Aix Marseille from 2000 to 2007. Currently, she is a journalist for Zibeline magazine and responsible for short films at Filmes Femmes Méditerranée.

Catarina Mourão

Catarina Mourão

Founder of AporDOC (Association for Portuguese Documentary). She has been teaching Cinema and Documentary since 1998 in different Degrees and Masters. In 2000 she created with Catarina Alves Costa, the Laranja Azul, an independent film production company.

Tânia Dinis

Master in Contemporary Artistic Practices FBAUP, 2015. Short film Não são favas, são feijocas (2013) awarded in several film festivals. Laura (2017) award for best short film at the Archive in Poster – International Film Festival. She was one of the winners of the Open Call of the Summer Laboratories at GNRation with the audiovisual installation – overlapped.

Weronika Adamowska

Co-founder and programmer of HER Docs Film Festival – the first documentary festival in Poland that presents the work of women in cinema. Contributing expert to the 2019 Documentary Convention (DC’19) in Leipzig – an annual international gathering of the documentary community focusing on the documentary industries in the Arab region and Europe.

Roberto Barrueco

Director and founder of Mecal, Barcelona International Short Film and Animation Festival, which in 2021 will celebrate its 23rd edition. His most recent projects are the 360 Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Market of Barcelona and Mecal Balears, professional conferences of the film industry in the Balearic Islands.

Tânia Leão

Tânia Leão

She is a sociologist and an author of several publications, particularly in the areas of sociology of culture, film festivals, public, cultural and leisure practices, education and qualitative methodologies. She is a collaborator in film festivals, her preferential research area, with particular interest in programming and educational services.

Tiago Alves

Tiago Alves

Radialist, journalist, film publisher and programmer since 1995. In Antena 1, he coordinates and presents CINEMAX, a magazine that has been broadcast since 2005. CINEMAX is also an online film channel, dedicated to current cinema, and a television program with regular short film sessions on RTP2. Since 1999 it has been writing about cinema in the magazine Visão, the daily newspaper Jornal de Notícias, and the digital magazine Metropolis.

STUDENTS’ COMPETITION

Ana Catarina Pereira

She is a lecturer at the University of Beira Interior and a researcher at the LabCom center. She is the author of the books A Mulher-Cineasta: Da arte pela arte a uma estética da diferenciação and Estudo do Tecido Operário Têxtil da Cova da Beira (2007). She is one of the founders of the International Conference on Film and Other Arts, at UBI, and coordinator of Sopcom’s Film Studies WG.

Hülya Demirden

Hülya Demirden is the director of the International Changing Perspectives Short Film Festival, Turkey. Since 2000, she has worked in several festivals as a program director, general coordinator, advisor and jury member, respectively at the International Migration Film Festival, the International Silk Road Film Festival, the Malatya International Film Festival, the Edirne International Film Festival, and the International Crime and Punishment Film Festival.

Marta Reis

She was the co-director of Black & White, a festival with the aim of celebrating black and white aesthetics. In 2017 she was part of the team that launched the first edition of BEAST IFF, an event committed to promoting Eastern European cinema, organized by Plus East – Cultural Association. He is a member of the governing bodies of the Portuguese Film Club – Cineclube do Porto, since 2017

Carla Sequeira

Carla Sequeira

She has a degree in Social Communication and is a professor at Universidade Lusófona do Porto and a researcher at CICANT – Centro de Investigação em Comunicação Aplicada, Cultura e Novas Tecnologias. She is a member of RTP’s Council of Opinion, representing NGOs of the Advisory Board of the CIG – Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality.
