Biography
Hannah Molcar was born in Austria, Vienna, and began to be interested in experimental cinema and animation from the beginning. Now she works on projects in Vienna, mixing scratch and cut out animation.
Linda Dombrovszky has a degree from the Academy of Drama and Film, Faculty of Film and TV. From 2004 to 2009 she frequented the BA and MA at Academy of Drama and Film, Faculty of Film and TV, Hungary.

Rain Kencana was born in Jakarta Indonesia. At the age of five she moved to Berlin. She started to study editing at the German film school Konrad Wolf. She works as an editor for commercials and all narrative formats. Her shorts have traveled the world at numerous festivals. She also works as a dramatic advisor at the theatre for various dance productions. Rain is based in Berlin

Society’s capitalist and consumerist views of women amount to little more than their views of horses. Their value is found not in their humanity, but in their appearance and their labor, and how each may be exploited. In Girls Grow Up Drawing Horses, these relationships and parallels occur to the narrator as she considers her grandma’s life as well as her own. Layers of animated colors, textures, and found footage explore these observations, the idea of healing family trauma, and the metaphorical significance of horses and women’s gender roles.
Biography
Joanie Wind grew up in the deserts of Arizona, where horses were a prominent image and drawing subject. In 2006, she moved to Michigan to study painting. She acquired a BFA (2010) and eventually an MFA (2015) in interdisciplinary art from Eastern Michigan University. She now paints, teaches art, and make films in the Detroit area, while exhibiting her work internationally.

Synopsis
Farruca is the distant yet pulsing memory of a mother evoked by a daughter. Both women live upon Earth but their destiny is drastically separated. A journey through memory and time is conjured in which Carmen’s character, habits and manner are depicted after having been a suffering, dark, solitary, hard-working woman. Likewise, the story line reflects on the etymology of the main character’s name: a strong and very present Saint’s name in Galicia.
Biography
Virginia Expósito was born in Vigo (Pontevedra) in 1990. Specialized in Social Communication at the UAB she is formed in Photojournalism and Social Photography at the Documentary Photography Center of Barcelona between 2015 and 2018. In search of a social improvement, she decided to analyze crafts that can contribute to reinventing the current economic structure deepening in studies of tailoring and dressmaking and traditional floristry.

Biography
Susana Sánchez Carballo is a visual artist, researcher and cultural manager. She is a graduate of the Master of Arts from the University of Costa Rica (U.C.R) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the U.C.R. She is currently co-director of the Collective House of Women Artists of Costa Rica – Casa Ma -, together with Gala Berger, and is a collaborator of the (virtual) Museum of Women of Costa Rica. In 2018, she was selected to exhibit on the Paseo de las Américas, an itinerant and international artistic exhibition organized by the Inter- American Development Bank (IDB).

A real-life story becomes the starting point for a cinematic reflection that leads from the personal to the political. Rather than the synthesizer that she wants, the first-person narrator is given a food processor as a gift. Baffled, she sets off to find out the possible reasons why. After all, the confusion poses a few questions: What identities and gender constructions are inscribed into these devices? What are the relationships between people and machines, bodies and devices, the domestic and the artistic fields?

Adina Felicitas Camhy (Graz/Vienna) works and experiments at the interfaces of various forms of media expression. Based on precise observations of the existing and in narrative approaches, she addresses topics such as the politics of memory, representation, and the political in the public and private spheres. She is interested in the connections between social processes and constructed spaces. Studies of architecture at the TU Graz and the UPV València (ES). Synopsis
The key figure of the Great October Socialist Revolution of 1917 in Russia was Lenin. After his death in 1924 Lenin’s image was immortalized in countless numbers of monuments in the Soviet Union and in the Soviet bloc’s countries. In her video, the artist refers to depicted in stone image of the Revolution leader based on archival materials and found footage. There is neither living nor dead Lenin in the film; only “the stone guest” become ingrained in Soviet people lives after his death.

Stephanie Rodrigues was born in a city in the interior of São Paulo. She graduated in graphic design, researches Brazilian cinema and questions daily the directions her country is taking. She lived in Portugal for two years, from 2017 to 2019, and took an MA in Image Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto. An enthusiast of memory, she found in cinema a story already told and many others to tell.

Satoko Kojima Hoshino, born in Japan, 1983. She has a degree in Psychology, a Master in General Health Psychology, a Gender Violence Specialist and a professional dancer. After graduating in contemporary dance at the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona, she developed her career as a professional dancer in different companies in Spain. She has worked in shelters for women victims of gender violence, where she has deepened equal opportunities, gender violence and prostitution and trafficking of women for sexual exploitation

Carolin Biedermann was born in 1987 in the North Part of Germany. After finishing apprenticeship as a pharmaceutical assistant Carolin moved to Canada to make her first experiences in the Film Industry with the production of Smallville and the Future Film Helen. Coming back after 1 1/2 Year, she moved to Hamburg and studied Cinematography. During that time she worked as an camera assistant, and DOP for Short Films, Documentaries and Feature Films
