Synopsis:
On a summer afternoon, a woman caresses herself, alone in her bed. Somewhere between thrilling journey and poetic trance, Babines is an ode to pleasure.
Biography:
Emilie Praneuf was born in France in 1984 and has been living in Brussels since 2006. She is a part of Brussels-based artistic collective Collectif Wow! She has created and acted in theatre, cinema and radio. Emilie has also been experimenting with directing and photography. She is interested in creation processes or how to create with intimacy as a basis She has been a self-taught drawer for many years. She discovered animation with Babines, along with video maker and motion designer Ychaï Gassenbauer, also a student in musicology, theatre and video, and sonorous/musical creations director Sebastien SCHMITZ, also teacher in radiophonic language at IHECS.
Biography:
Daria Kashcheeva studies animated film at FAMU in Prague. Her student films featured at many international festivals. Daria’s original To Acceptwon the Nespresso Talents 2017 film competition in Cannes. In Daughter, her Bachelor’s puppet animation, Daria experiments with camera motion and explores the topic of father-daughter relationship.

Synopsis:
In a hospital room, the Daughter recalls a childhood moment when as a little girl she tried to share her experience with an injured bird with her Father. A moment of misunderstanding and a lost embrace has stretched into many years all the way to this hospital room, until the moment when a window pane breaks under the impact of a little bird.
Biography
Marion Lacourt is an illustrator, an engraver and a filmmaker. After studying theatre and cinema at the University of Strasbourg and lithography at the University of Fine Arts of Hamburg, she graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ENSAD) in Paris. As a consultant, she helps with the development on various types of projects, making multiplane camera and set design her specialty. She teaches paint-on-glass animation at the Atelier de Sèvres since 2015 and joined the teaching team of the animation department at the ENSAD in 2020. Her film Sheep, Wolf & a Cup of Tea... (Emile Reynaud Prize 2019) got selected in multiple festivals: Locarno, Clermont-Ferrand, Annecy, New-York, Chicago, Aswan, Hong Kong, Berlin, Cork, Moscow, Bilbao, Barcelona… Filmography: Page d’écriture (2014 ), Moutons, loup et tasse de the… (2019).

Biography
Born in Bratislava, she moved to Prague with her family at the age of four, where she lives today. She graduated from Animation at FAMU and after graduating from bachelor studies she started studying at the department of Documentary Film. In her work she tends to the genre of documentary and experimental animation.

Synopsis
The film explores memory as a container of our identity. It's based on the personal story of the author and her brother who got a brain tumor diagnosis. The narrative and form of the film follow the idea of perceiving reality with a broken memory. An animated documentary experiments with art and film techniques and balances on the edge of genres.
Biography
Fang-Yi Hsueh was born in Taiwan. She studied at Department of Multimedia and Animation Arts at National Taiwan University of Arts, focusing on producing animations. During her studies, she participated in six animation projects, including four 2D animations and two 3D animations. Also, she produced three independent animations. She hoped that she will not only improve skills of film making but also her thinking.

Synopsis
Rape victims sometimes have a “freezing behavior” at the moment, it let them feel emotionally detached and unable to control their body to resist. We hope we can convey that the victims are unable to resist of sexual assault through this film. Let the public try to understand the mental state of victims instead of blaming the victims.
