Biography:
Julia Lea de Toledo graduated in Social Sciences in 2013 and since then has been dedicated to documentary filmmaking, working as a researcher, producer, screenwriter, and assistant director in different countries in Latin America. In 2019 she started a Masters in Documentary Film at the Universidad del Cine, the same year that she started editing her first film If this street were mine. Se essa rua fosse minha.

Synopsis:
This documentary unveils a hidden aspect of the city of Rio de Janeiro that departs from the glamorous picture postcard stereotype. Four individuals reveal intimate aspects of their daily struggle for survival whilst awaiting changes with uncertain outcomes.
Biography:
Fine Arts student at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Paula Armijo soon opted for the audiovisual branch, with the intention of continuing her studies by taking a master's degree in digital post-production. Biography
Beatriz de Sousa (1999, Leiria), director and student, currently attends the degree in Cinema at the University of Beira Interior, where she develops a work focused on the use of cinema as a tool for personal and collective self-knowledge, discovering the essence of the intimacy of everyday life through a new look, as in her first film Mesa Posta (2022).

Synopsis
Mesa Posta is a film that lives off the violence of a life, which is shown in the simplicity of the gestures of the person who plays it. The habits, beliefs, and moments of this story are told in the act of setting the table, then the brutality of life is confronted by the beauty and the grace of the objects that make it: the table is set as life is told.
Biography
Born and raised in Stans, Switzerland, Thaïs Odermatt has been working as a freelance filmmaker, editor and video artist since 2009. Her work as a director as well as an editor have been shown and awarded at numerous international film festivals.

Synopsis

Biography
Venice (Italy), 1993. After studying visual arts at the IUAV University in Venice, she obtained a master's degree in Cinema at Roma Tre University, with a thesis on the "other" gaze of cinema, from visual anthropology to Atelier Varan and social projects of participatory video. In her artistic career, immersion in reality and the multiplicity of languages has become increasingly central, which has found full expression in the documentary, being an approach of intrinsic freedom and humanity.
