Synopsis:
The silent tale of an immigrant woman looking for a better life. As she struggles with loneliness and poverty, she is unable to forget what she left behind. A look at the exploitation of immigrants in Portugal, through the eyes of a greenhouse worker.
Biography:
Laís Andrade was born in 1997 in Brazil and moved to Portugal at the age of four. In 2020, she finished her Master's Degree in Film at the University of Beira Interior. For the final project, she wrote and directed Flor de Estufa (2021) based on her community’s stories. She is now working on her next short film, based on her own migration experience as a child. She also works as a screenwriter, script supervisor, and assistant director.

Biography:
Born and raised in Chennai, a colorful conglomerate of urban villages, Apoorva was fascinated by the power of Tamil filmdom in state politics, igniting a passion for creating films that are socially and politically aware. In 2016, she was selected to attend the International Filmmaking Academy in Bologna. Apoorva is currently based in Prague and her primary goal is to explore personal stories around socially relevant contemporary ideas and themes.

Synopsis:
Kanya intimately explores the inner dissonance of an adolescent girl who is experiencing puberty in a traditional Indian family. Kanya‘s natural maturing along with her physical and psychological transformation are neglected and her inner disharmony escalates, leading her to finally muster the courage to revolt against the system that clearly defines and sets the standards of the conventional status of a woman.

Biography
Pollyanna Popermâjer was born in Stockholm, Sweden. Since childhood she's been on an artistic journey, experimenting the ways of artistic expression through music, acting and filmmaking. She has then been moving more and more towards directing.

Synopsis

Synopsis
A poor homeless man knows there is a lot of food in an art gallery. He sneaks into the art gallery because he is hungry. He eats a lot of cake and then falls asleep in this warm gallery by accident. Flat on the floor, he is considered as a performance art by rich people. When the homeless man wakes up, people clap and shake his hand. At this moment, he decides to pretend to be an artist.
