Biography
Maria Trigo Teixeira (Lisbon, 1990) is an animation filmmaker and producer based in Berlin. In 2019 her graduation film from the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf Inside me won the German Short Film Award for Best Animation. She organises the monthly short film festival Shortcutz Berlin.

Biography
Chaerin Im is a filmmaker who focuses on sexuality and gender issues through animation. She graduated from Seoul National University’s Visual Communication Design BFA program in 2017 and recently started studying at CalArts Experimental Animation MFA program.

Cécile Guillard has developed a visual culture through joyful experimentation and the search for graphic writing.
Lana Choukroune did a year of training in 3D animation at Supinfocom Rubika, she finished her studies at Gobelins in animation.
Born in Jinzhou, China, Yijia Cao finished her degree at the Beijing Film Academy in animation in 2017.

Synopsis
People are always looking for an explanation why they are the way they are. Character traits that are dictated by starry constellations relieve us of the responsibility to change and grow. The main characters of Your Future are the personified zodiacs. Their typical traits are put into a new context and exaggerated to the point of absurdity. The cosmic creatures tell stories of the chaos and non-sense of being human, of the everyday life and surprises, of love and boredom, of sex and violence and everything that makes life beautiful and terrible.
Biography
Maren Wiese moved to Kassel in 2014 and began her studies in Visual Communication. Since 2015, she is a proud student in the animation department of Kassel Art School.
Petra Stipetic decided to focus her interest in animation and began studying visual communication at Kassel Art School in 2014. In recent years she has worked on projects related to animation, game design and storytelling.

People come, people go. Yet everyone is moving in the same direction. We all are sharing something that we are unaware of, creating one big picture we are unable to see. The film explores the idea of how everyone is connected in a way we may not realise. By sharing time, space and movement, we overlap and create a bigger picture.
Biography
Michelle Brand is a London based German-English animator, filmmaker and sound designer, who enjoys cross-combining all kinds of things and media. She studied animation at the University for Creative Arts in Farnham, UK, and completed her Animation MA at the Royal College of Arts in 2019. Her films attempt to visualise philosophical concepts, with a special focus on time, movement and change.
