Synopsis

Anna Karín is a filmmaker based in Reykjavík, Iceland. She graduated from the Icelandic Film School from the directing and producing department. She is quite new to the film industry but her decision to go to film school two years ago was very spontaneous. Now she works at RÚV, Island’s National Television Broadcasting Station, where she is filming, editing, producing and directing material for the younger generation.

Biography

Ana Manana and Joana Lourenço studied Communication Design at the Fine Arts Faculty of Lisbon, in 2017, and in the same year they took part of the Kino-Doc documentary course

Currently, they’re both studying Anthropology at NOVA University and they are preparing their new documentary.

Biography

Viv Li is an accidental filmmaker that has worked in the UK, Brazil, Colombia, China and the Philippines. Born and raised in Beijing, she spent the past 10 years traveling and exploring her undefined self. The particular voice of her multi-cultural background has granted her a unique identity. Her works have focused on the sensibility and tangibility of moments, relationships, sexuality and self-awareness.

Biography

Tânia Teixeira has a degree in Cinema and Audiovisual from the Porto Superior Artistic School. Her essay film Gastão – a film made in a tone of study for another film – was attended by in Porto/Post/ Doc 2019, in the category New Cinema, on Channel 180, was the Portuguese representative at the Festival Mental 2020.

Biography

Claudia Claremi. She graduated in Documentary Film at the EICTV, International Film and TV School of San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba (2015-2018), and also in Fine Arts at Camberwell College of Arts, London (2009). She was awarded with the INJUVE 2015 grant and she is part of the online Archive of Creators of Madrid. She has directed the documentaries Centella, Murciélago , El Monte and Patio de Butacas. Her art projects and films have been exhibited in several countries as well as at international film festivals.

Inês Paredes graduated in Communication Sciences with a specialization in Audiovisual and Multimedia, from the University of Minho.

Pós-graduada em Design Editorial no Instituto Politécnico de Tomar e atualmente mestranda em Cinema na Universidade da Beira Interior.

Susana Nevado graduated in Communication Sciences with a specialization in Audiovisual and Multimedia from the University of Minho. Has a Master’s Degree in Design and Multimedia taken at the University of Coimbra.

Biography

Andrea Yu-Chieh Chung was born in Taipei, Taiwan. She is curious about the world and passionate about telling stories of people who are in between places and those who strive to understand and overcome differences. She has worked on projects and screened her films in the UAE, the US, Cuba, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Sweden, India, Sri Lanka, and beyond.
