Biography:
Computer Engineer, in 2012 she decided to dedicate herself to her real passion: telling stories through animation. Her first animated short film “Roberto”, of which she is the writer, director and producer, was released in 2020 and has won more than 160 national and international awards and has more than 350 selections, including 11 festivals that qualify for the Oscars. She is currently working as a director on the animated feature film “A World of Their Own”, in development, produced by Nico Matji and presented in Cartoon Movie 2022.

Synopsis:
Elena is enjoying her life in clouds, until she meets a charming Red Crane and a seed starts growing inside her. Not ready for the changes and sacrifices that the seed brings to her life,Elena rips it out of her body. Soon she will realize the consequences of doing so.
Biography:
Birutė Sodeikaitė-a puppet animation director, puppet and scenography artist, animator. An Alumni of The Arts University Bournemouth, UK, with the animation practice at the greatest puppet animation studios in Europe (Aardman, UK, Nukufilm, Estonia, Se-Ma-For, Poland).Her debut film, a short puppet animation “Last Stop Is The Moon”, Polish-Lithuanian Production, was nominated for theEuropean Animation Awards 2018 in the BestBackgroundand Character Design category.

Biography:
Melanie Saint-Germain has an interdisciplinary art baccalaureate, with a cinema major, at Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. Multidisciplinary artist, animation cinema is her predilection medium. Her skills are mostly in production, numeric arts and visual arts.

Biography:
Two artists, namely Michaela Čopíková and Veronika Obertová, have been working together as "Ové Pictures" since 2010. Their background is rooted in traditional animation, having created animated films, music videos, commercials and all kinds of animations for documentaries or educational purposes. Formally, their works gradually shifted from traditional animation to more diverse forms.

Biography:
Graduated in Animation in 2013 at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest, Hungary. Her focus, besides short films and animated scenes for films, is on making music videos. These are especially inspiring because, instead of telling narrative stories, she can create visual poetry based on associative images. Also working on animated documentary films because with animation it is possible to express the most subjective parts of a narrative.

Biography:
Sofia El Khyari grew up in Casablanca. She moved to Paris to study cultural management, and learned animation by herself. She directed her first short film and then obtained a Master's degree in animation at the Royal College of Art in London where she explored her fascination for textures and animated calligraphy.

Synopsis:
Linh is a Vietnamese single mother who’s successfully forged a life for herself and her son in America. But when her father visits from Vietnam and insists on cooking the family a traditional Vietnamese meal, Linh is confronted with the past and culture she left behind and the question of where it belongs in her family’s new life.
Biography:
Mai Vu is an animator/ animation director from Sai Gon, Vietnam. She started making stop-motion short films in 2010, and started writing, animating and directing in stop-motion series: Say Hi To Pencil (2012 – 2019). From 2016, she has been making stop-motion for a number of commercials for Vietnam Airline, Perfetti Van Melle, Clé de Peau, Pepsi, Forbes… In 2020, she started the MA for Directing Animation at the National Film and Television School, UK, to further pursue her directing career and telling stories from an Asian perspective.

Synopsis:
A female puppet appears locked in a room, prostrate on the floor and immobile. After several experiences, ropes are attached to her body and her movements begin to be more and more fluid. Each of the strings is associated with a scene related to an aspect of women's social problems, such as the body, equality or gender.
Biography:
Sonia is a stop-motion animation film director, producer and animator. She’s the co-founder and administrator of an independent production company specialized in stop motion, Tik Tak Film Studio. She has professionally directed two short films; Txotxongiloa and Malkoak and several commercials. She’s currently directing the short film ¨Plazer bat¨. She is also trained in Forestry and Environmental Chemistry, that’s why she fuses audiovisual production and sustainability.
