Synopsis
A surrealist film about a group of children living in a house without adult supervision who feel haunted by the ghost of Llorona -the legendary Mexican ghost of a woman who murdered her children, and whom they hear sighing at night. Their powerful fantasy guided by their fear, unleashes a chain of events that lead them to become a part of this legend themselves.
Biography
Rosana Cuellar (1984) is a Mexican artist based in Hamburg, Germany. As a film director, Rosana has a unique style that combines her interest for interdisciplinary collaboration, to create oneiric pieces of metaphorical expression marked by a very distinctive aesthetic. Her short films have been shown in renowned film festivals around the world such as Cannes and Berlinale.

Synopsis
In an abandoned field, 8 year-old Hugo is playing at war. Suddenly, an intruder invades his territory: Aiché. He is a great loner and she has a strong head and therefore fascinates him. But their games are suddenly interrupted when they witness the expulsion of Aiché’s mother. Aiché then runs away, followed by Hugo. They will have to face a reality which is beyond them, and find solutions at their young age.
Biography
Amelia Nanni is French and Italian. After her graduation in film by the University of Paris 7, she took to the road, alone, around Asia for a year. She then continued her studies in INSAS – School of cinema in Brussel – in the direction departement. At the present time, she works on her master’s dissertation about a travel notebook and cinema.

Synopsis
Taking care of her husband Ben, who refuses to permanently remove the washcloths tied to his hands, Mimi finds her marriage rotating in an almost surreal routine. Suppressed by his weakness, while simultaneously enabling it, she misses a connection to the outside world and to nature in all its harshness. Acting upon these claustrophobic feelings, Mimi secretly opens a window one night and allows a caterpillar to enter their home. Getting closer to the animal, she slowly rediscovers a more primal, free and almost mystical side of herself.
Biography
Eva Cragg began to make her first short films, both live action and animation, as she pursued her Master of Science in Architecture at the KTH Stockholm in Sweden. Upon completing her degree in 2014, Eva came to the Columbia University Graduate Film Program in New York City and graduated with an MFA in Screenwriting and Directing. In October 2018 Eva moved back to Germany and now lives in Berlin.

Biography
As a child Myrte acted in several Dutch films and television series. At the age of 16 she decided to turn into directing. She followed a course at Open Studios and started studying at the Grafisch Lyceum in Rotterdam. In 2014 Myrte got accepted at the Netherlands Film Academy. In the third year she directed the film Van Binnenuit (2018). Myrte wants to give the viewer a different perspective on our everyday life.

Biography
Chanelle Eidenbenz did an artistic propaedeutic course and worked as a freelancer, producing casting videos at home and abroad. In 2017 she did an interdisciplinary graduate program “Transcultural Collaboration“ in Hong Kong. In 2018 she received her Bachelor of Arts in Film from the Zurich University of the Arts. Next to her own projects she works as script supervisor and assistant director.

Artemis Anastasiadou is a versatile director from Greece, working across genres both on comedies and dramas. Her directorial work has been screened at SXSW, Austin Film Festival, Athens International FF, Oak Cliff FF, FilmFest Dresden, Cine Las Americas, Film Festival of Drama among others. Her latest short I am Mackenzie (2019) premiered at SXSW Festival and won the Texas Shorts Jury Award.

Biography
Tanja Hurrle directed her first short film at the age of eight. In high school she began submitting her films to festivals which led to some awards, including an Honorable Mention at the Up-and-Coming International Filmfestival Hannover and several nominations for the Deutsche Jugendlmpreis (German Youth Film Award). Her short film Wonderland won first prize at the Visionale Hessen.

Biography
Anna Karín is a filmmaker based in Reykjavík, Iceland. She graduated from the Icelandic Film School from the directing and producing department. She is quite new to the film industry but her decision to go to film school two years ago was very spontaneous. Now she works at RÚV, Island’s National Television Broadcasting Station, where she is filming, editing, producing and directing material for the younger generation.
