In the Antechamber of Consciousness | Na Antessala da Consciência
Portugal | 11’37’’ | 2022
Realizadora|Director: Sally Santiago
Produção | Production: Sally Santiago
Synopsis
An internal journey through the constant reconfigurations of a particular and intimate space that fulfills its duty to transform and shape itself in a distinct and personalized way. An inaugural portrait of an active consciousness that knows little about what it will come to know, but that even so, insists on the attempt at assimilation. In the Antechamber of Consciousness is based on a spatial metaphor that supposes the existence of a restricted space where thoughts dwell before being uttered and where emotions are felt before being named. A reverie of the thinking being maintaining the routine of his existence.
